Welcome to Back Inn Time in St. Albans, Vermont
New: The Loft, spacious, self catering accommodation. Call for details or book online!

This beautifully restored Victorian Manor located in St. Albans, Vermont was built in 1858 by Victor Atwood in the old Railroad town of St. Albans. The house is rare, in that it has only had 3 previous owners.

Each room of this Vermont Bed & Breakfast has been completely restored and decorated in period fashion. Guests may choose from three smaller rooms, all with queen or full sized beds and private baths, or 2 master rooms, each with its own fireplace and private bath.

Dine in the formal dining room or enjoy a sumptuous full breakfast in the less formal café area or sunny deck.  Enjoy the exquisite gardens from one of four outside porches; take in a novel in the enchanting living room, or, simply sip a cup of French press coffee or tea in one of the two sitting rooms offered by the house.  Local beer, wine, and ciders are also available in our bar.

We are pleased to offer packages that can make your stay a complete haven of restfulness and restoration for the soul.  Why not reserve time for a therapeutic or spa style massage?  We also offer gourmet gluten-free selections sure to satisfy even the most discriminating palate. Our newest feature is a total Health Immersion Experience for those wishing to take the plunge into a healthier lifestyle.  We take the guess work out of the shopping, and provide plenty of cooking tips as well, in a three-or five-day stay.

Now available for purchase: KarenMarie's Back Inn Time Salad Dressings & Marinades!

“Best B&B I have ever visited”
A faraway friend found this B&B on Tripadvisor and reserved us rooms for a reunion. What a perfect choice. A mid-Victorian showplace, beautifully restored with original character retained [but private baths for each room!] provided real character and warmth as well as beauty. It boasts, I think, 6 porches! The beds were exceptional, the quiet blissful, the hosts welcoming and gracious, KarenMarie is a talented chef who cooks local ingredients with knowledge and passion. She and her husband made us very happy.
