Therapeutic Infrared Sauna &/or Massage
Be pampered with soothing music and aromatherapy during 30-minute; 60-minute; or 90-minute massage sessions with a professionally trained and certified therapist. Reservations in advance of check-in are appreciated and those requests will be filled first. 20 and 40 minute Infrared Sauna Sessions are also available for a fee.
Picnic Basket Lunch
Why not make the most of the scenic surrounds with a romantic picnic on the shores of Lake Champlain or on a scenic vista or trail? Our basket for two includes sliced meat such as turkey or ham, potato salad or coleslaw, fresh rolls, cheese, fruit, and wine, champagne, or Vermont Cider. (Ingredients vary according to availability and dietary restrictions.)
Dinner by Design
When you’ve reached your destination, you can choose from several places to dine in walking distance or within a short drive, but you may just be so inspired by your surroundings you’ll want to go no further. Especially if you plan on staying more than one evening with us, you may want to make reservations, as we do not generally serve every night.
Elopement Package
When you’re ready to commit without all the fanfare, we have just the place for you. Wedding performed by Justice of the Peace, two night’s accommodations, one candlelit gourmet dinner with champagne, and two breakfasts.

An absolute delight!—My Dad and I were traveling around New England and after a long day's drive, found ourselves in St Albans. We are not from the States and have never been in the area before, I contacted Karen Marie late in the afternoon and she was more than happy to accommodate us that very evening. From that moment, we could not have asked for a better experience. We have stayed in quite a few B and B's on our trip so far, and this was without a doubt the homiest, most welcoming and had the most delicious and extensive breakfast! ...Our room was very comfortable, the house was super clean and beautifully decorated. Although it is unlikely that we'll be in Vermont again soon, I would 100% stay here again if we are, and will not hesitate to recommend the Back Inn time to all of my friends!
