Things to Do in this glorious part of Vermont
We are here to help you explore, or simply sit back and restore. This part of Vermont has so much to offer. Nearby St. Albans is a bustling little city with a lot of harm. Concerts in Taylor Park, restaurants, shops, art galleries, and a small movie theatre make it easy to spend a few hours in one place. Just a few minutes in the opposite direction is the center of Fairfax village with a great little market, fantastic pizza restaurant, shops and more. Milton also has a fabulous Indian restaurant and terrific art gallery, as well as other shops and eateries. If you're looking for larger cities, Stowe is about a 40 minute drive and Burlington and surrounds a mere 20 or so. Montreal is just over an hour away, and those cute border towns with vineyards, cideries, and more are even closer so don't forget to pack your passport!
Nearby there is a sweet short up and down hike in the 100 Acre Woods, but many, many more trails with varied terrain and loops to explore as well. Hiking, bicycling, skiing, swimming, boating, or just walking the country roads, our own little paths, or the Rail Trails...watching sunrises and sunsets, eating out or eating in, finding live music venues or going to see a show, there is plenty to explore.
There is so much to enjoy here. A local guidebook will be available for your perusal when you stay.
